About us......
Moruya's nestled in paradise, between the mountains & the sea.
History.........
Based in Moruya, a country town on the far south coast of New South Wales, 25km south of Batemans Bay. The club was formed in late 1996 when the Moruya Agricultural Society wanted to display some vintage farm machinery at their 120th Anniversary Show. Shortly before this event, a small group of local men had discovered a common interest in vintage tractors. At the show, other folk who had tractors and/or engines, came together at the display and it was decided to form an Association.
We were incorporated in 1997.
Ever since, the club has been steadily growing, both in membership size and in the expectations of the community. We have around 80 members, women, men and youngsters, all of whom are dedicated to the preservation of our national heritage. We have held a number of vintage machinery rallies at the Moruya Showground and we're seen regularly at local community events.
Aims......
to obtain, maintain, preserve, restore and display machinery from our pioneering and early farming years, for the education and enjoyment of today's generation and future generations....
This covers vintage machinery of all types, including, tractors, stationary & portable engines, trucks, vintage and collectable cars, pumps, gristers, chaff-cutters, grinders, etc, etc.
Club Meetings.......
We meet in the evening of the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the "Moruya Golf Club" at 7.00pm.
The meetings are pretty informal and you're very welcome to join us.

We are proud members of the "National Historic Machinery Association" who provide us with both Public Liability & Personal Accident Insurance cover. We operate under their "Safety Guidelines". View these guidelines here. www.nhma.com.au
Conditional Registration Scheme.......

Accordingly, members are able to register Tractors, Trucks, vintage and classic cars; which have been approved by the Club Registrar as being eligible.
